What we collect

When you use the enquiry form on our website, we collect:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your telephone number

  • The venue you're enquiring about (The Torbay Inn or The Coach House)

  • The reason for your enquiry

  • Your message

We do not send marketing emails, so we don't collect or use your data for that purpose. We do not collect any other personal data through this site beyond standard technical data automatically generated by your browser.

Why we use your information, and for how long

We use the details above to reply to your enquiry and deal with your request. This is necessary for us to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, or to pursue our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our venues.

We keep enquiry form submissions for 24 months from the date of your enquiry, after which they are deleted, unless we need to keep them for longer to deal with an ongoing matter or to meet a legal obligation.

Who else processes your data

We share your data with a small number of trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only to provide their service to us:

  • Our website hosting provider - Alffi Technologies, who stores the site and any data submitted through it

  • Our email delivery provider - Resend, who sends enquiry confirmations on our behalf

We do not sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.
